Position Function:
Lead revenue marketing, digital strategy, and ticket holder communications for Mississippi State Athletics with an objective of increasing attendance, awareness, engagement, and revenue.
Salary Grade: 14

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee development and execution of innovative revenue generating and fan engagement digital strategies utilizing email marketing, digital media (organic and paid), web platforms, and mobile app among other methods.
2. Support season ticket, partial plan, and single game sales campaign planning to generate revenue and leads for ticketed sports including football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, baseball, and softball.
3. Implement email campaign strategies to promote events, support lead generation, and produce ticket sales revenue in addition to creating gameday/landing pages for ticket renewal and sales information.
4. Ensure prioritization of ticket sales, donations, sponsorships, and licensing/retail initiatives on official athletics website and mobile app.
5. Oversee paid digital strategies including paid search, retargeting, and advertising across all relevant social platforms.
6. Oversee OTT/CTV advertising while ensuring revenue generating trade account deliverables are utilized and executed in a timely manner.
7. Oversee execution of text communication and sales campaigns as well as any revenue or customer focused artificial intelligence (AI) generated content, communications, and chat platforms.
8. Work with Creative Services department to provide graphics, photography, and video content that serve digital strategies and as needed create original content while maintaining brand standards.
9. Collaborate weekly with other department communicators from Fan Experience, Communications, and Bulldog Club to ensure external brand, messaging, and social media alignment as well as push notification strategies.
10. Support Bulldog Club annual fund and premium ticket campaigns as well as individual sport booster club communications.
11. Collaborate with Analytics and Business Strategy team to manage constituent database, evaluate demographic information, segment communications, implement growth strategies/engage new fans, initiate and analyze fan experience surveys, incorporate trackable links, and align with CRM platform.
12. Support execution and fulfillment of digitally sponsored assets solicited by Bulldog Sports Properties.
13. Develop, monitor, and share analytics reports to measure effectiveness and return on investment of email (opens and clicks) and digital advertising (return on ad spend).
14. Continually evaluate digital media standards and trends while learning about new and emerging technologies and platforms.
15. Perform related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position could supervise student interns and full-time staff members.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications or Marketing.
Director Level: Two years of experience in Intercollegiate or Professional Sports-related social and/or digital media with a proven record of progressive approach to Social and Digital Media.
Senior Director Level: Three years of experience in Intercollegiate or Professional Sports-related social and/or digital media with a proven record of progressive approach to Social and Digital Media.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience working in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
• Experience working in Oracle Eloqua
• Experience working in CRM systems preferably Salesforce
• Experience working in Paciolan or similar ticketing systems

Working Conditions and Physical Effort
• Frequent interruptions based on changing priorities; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.
• Work hours are unpredictable and may require nights and weekends
• Limited exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc., but none to the point of being disagreeable.
• May involve minor safety hazards where likely result would be cuts, bruises, etc.
• Job frequently requires walking, standing, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, and handling objects with hands.
• Job occasionally requires light lifting of up to 25 pounds.
• Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
