Director of Development, Northeast Partial Remote, Bethlehem
The Director is responsible for securing financial support to Lehigh through cultivating meaningful relationships with potential and current major gift level donors to Lehigh University. The Director will manage a portfolio of donors and prospective donors, and is responsible for facilitating all phases of the gift cycle, including initiating contact, cultivating and moving potential donors to solicitation and closure, making solicitations, writing proposals, and stewarding donors. The Director works collaboratively with key volunteers, University leadership, Development staff, Alumni Relations staff, and other University representatives to plan, develop and execute a comprehensive proactive philanthropic strategy informed by University priorities. Directors can be assigned to a region, a project area, or to a constituent group.
Asst. Vice President, Colleges and Initiatives Partial Remote, Bethlehem
The Assistant Vice President, Colleges and Initiatives (AVP) will oversee the breadth of programs supporting fundraising for Lehigh’s College of Health and College of Education, University Research Centers & Institutes, Vice Provost Initiatives, as well as a robust corporate, foundation, and non-profit engagement (CFR) program. The AVP will lead and partner with the teams responsible for helping each of the areas engage and solicit prospects to maximize philanthropy and help them meet their strategic objectives. Along with each of the directors of development for the colleges, the AVP will act as a trusted resource for two college deans. The AVP will work directly with the Provost and Vice Provost of Research and oversee the strategic fundraising direction of key university priorities including the University Research Centers, Vice Provost Initiatives such as educational innovation, and the CFR program. The AVP will help meet objectives through the engagement and solicitation of donors, corporations, corporate and private foundations, and other non-profit partners. The position serves in a senior management capacity for all programs within the portfolio, and is directly responsible for the development, execution, and evaluation of annual plans that maximize donor philanthropy, sponsored research, and other forms of corporate and non-profit engagement. Because of the many and varied forms of revenue-generating activity, a key driver of success for the position is the proper and strategic alignment of resources within the team. Management of the team requires regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to set and mark progress toward goals and adjust strategies as necessary, as well as team meetings that help coordinate all work and create an atmosphere of collaborative, creative, and ambitious activity. This will also include supporting the training and professional development of the team.
Associate Director, New England Partial Remote, Bethlehem

Manager, Library and Technology Services Partial Remote, Bethlehem
Provides supervision and direction to the LTS client team in support of the College of Education and the College of Arts and Sciences. The manager works in a cross-functional, collaborative team environment with librarians, computing and instructional technology professionals to plan, develop, and deliver expert and technology-intensive information services. The manager assists Faculty, Staff, Students, and other users of LTS services in the design, implementation, and use of computing and communication systems and other information technologies. Provide documentation, training, and consulting services in the efficient and effective use of such systems and technologies. Diagnose and resolve problems relating to these systems.
Senior Administrative Specialist Partial Remote, Bethlehem

Management of the team requires regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to mark progress toward goals and adjust strategies as necessary, as well as team meetings that help to train all staff on the array of gift and volunteer opportunities that can be used to engage individuals. The AVP serves as a leader on the development team, reporting to the Associate Vice President for Development and helping to ensure successful collaboration among the various reporting units of the development operation within the Office of Development & Alumni Relations. The AVP will create and implement a strategic fundraising plan that outlines targets goals, timelines and measurable objectives.
