Mater Human Resources is looking for an Executive Support Officer to cover leverage from Mid-July to Early September. Based at Mater Newstead this role supports the Executive Director Human Resources, five Directors of Human Resources, and Senior Director Transformation and Advisory. This role is a great opportunity for an Admin Officer to get experience in a executive support role!
Salary range: MCA4 plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
You will provide high-level, confidential executive support to the Executive Director HR, HR Directors, and Senior Director Transformation & Advisory, including diary, travel, and email management. You will also:
- Proactively coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and reports, take minutes, and ensure follow-up of actions.
- Maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships using excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Draft high-quality written correspondence and reports, and contribute to decision-making through research and information collation.
- Exercise sound judgement and autonomy in managing day-to-day operations, problem-solving, and prioritising tasks.
- Utilise advanced IT and Microsoft Office skills to deliver efficient secretarial, administrative, and document management support.
About you
You will have previous relevant administrative experience. You will also meet the below criteria:
- Decision-making skills with the ability to set, manage and implement priorities
- Ability to drive for resolution
- High level facilitation and influencing skills along with strong decision-making skills with the ability to set, manage and implement priorities
- Ability to create and develop collaborative work environments where trust, integrity and open communication are valued
- Significant, proven experience of identifying, developing, establishing and maintaining robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
