Do you love working collaboratively across an organization to support IT project activities by coordinating work plans, prioritizing IT resources, and balancing employees' workload efficiently? LCRA is looking for a strategic and highly motivated IT Resource Analyst to join our Digital Services Planning and Performance team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be working closely with all of our IT teams and our Project Management team to implement resource management tools and strategies that align with LCRA's goals and initiatives. This is a hybrid position, working in our office in Austin at least 2 days a week.

You will be trusted to:

- Maintain visibility of current and upcoming projects to plan and staff them accordingly, and develop and maintain metrics related to resource capacity, time-on-task, and resource estimates compared to actuals.
- Collaborate with our Program Management team to identify resourcing needs during project development, and help match employees to projects based on their abilities, experience, and availability.
- Identify and manage resource utilization by applying resource management techniques, reallocating resources, and coordinating with management.
- Document processes, update records, and develop utilization reports and recommendations for staffing levels.

You qualify with:

- Twelve or more years of experience in project management, project analysis, departmental resource management, business management or a similar field. A degree(s) in project management, resource management, business operations management or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

You are a great fit with:

- Good understanding of resource planning, allocation, and optimization principles.
- Proficiency in using resource management software or ERP systems, particularly ServiceNow PPM/SPM and Resource Management modules.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess resource demands.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with collaborators at all levels.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Diligent approach to ensure accuracy in maintaining resource records and documentation.
- Proven strategic perspective, with the ability to think proactively.
- Experience balancing contending and high-priority work demands.
- Consistent track record in successfully implementing resource management strategies.
