As the Director of Institutional Research, you’ll oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making and institutional effectiveness. You’ll manage research projects, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with leadership to provide insights that shape the college’s future.
We’re looking for someone with strong analytical skills, experience with database administration, and expertise in data visualization tools. You should be comfortable leading projects, working independently, and presenting findings to diverse audiences. Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Office, and business intelligence software is essential.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and three years of full-time equivalent related work experience at an educational institution is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience querying complex relational databases using Structured Query Language (SQL) as well as extraction and analysis tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Access, Excel, Business Intelligence packages, and data visualization software required.
• Experience with institutional research practices, building and maintaining data visualization dashboards and reports, compliance reporting with State and national organizations, data analytics, outcomes assessment with Student Learning Assessment, survey construction and/or descriptive statistics required.
• Demonstrated experience in institutional research, project planning, development, and implementation required.
Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:00, Fri 7:30-2:30
Starting pay range: $69,655 - $83,586
