North Idaho College is seeking an Assistant Professor/Program Director – Radiography Technology to provide leadership and instruction in a program that prepares students for excellence in diagnostic imaging. This position oversees all aspects of program management, ensuring compliance with Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) standards while fostering a student-centered learning environment grounded in clinical competence and professional ethics.
In this role, you will coordinate curriculum development, accreditation reviews, and clinical partnerships; support faculty development; and maintain strong relationships with community partners to support quality clinical education. As a faculty member, you’ll teach engaging courses, advise students, and foster a supportive learning environment that emphasizes critical thinking, technical proficiency, and professional ethics. Collaboration with college leadership and health professions colleagues will be key in advancing program goals and ensuring long-term success.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree, three years of full-time equivalent related experience in a clinical setting, and two years of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program required.
Required License and/or Certifications:
Must have a valid driver’s license. Must hold current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography.
North Idaho College does not have a vaccine requirement. However, many of our nursing and health professions, are subject to federal or local hospital vaccine requirements.
Starting pay range: $71,910 - $87,944
