At North Idaho College, we believe workforce education transforms lives and strengthens our region’s economy. We are seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Workforce Development Manager to lead and grow our Workforce Training Center programs in transportation, the trades, technology, and business. In this role, you will provide leadership and oversight for program operations, instructors, and support staff while ensuring offerings remain financially sustainable, industry-aligned, and student-focused. You will guide the development and launch of certification courses, manage budgets and reporting, maintain compliance with applicable regulations, and support marketing and outreach efforts.
As a key industry liaison, you will build and sustain strong partnerships with employers, advisory councils, and community agencies to assess workforce trends, address talent supply and demand, and develop responsive training solutions. You will analyze labor market data, evaluate program performance, and implement improvements that enhance student success and employer satisfaction. Working collaboratively across campus, you will help bridge non-credit students into credit-bearing pathways and support strategic planning efforts that advance institutional goals.
We are looking for a collaborative leader with exceptional communication, supervisory, fiscal management, organizational, and problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced, community-centered environment and is committed to serving diverse students and partners.
