In this role, you’ll provide hands-on injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services for student-athletes across a range of competitive sports. You’ll support daily operations of the athletic training room; deliver first aid and emergency care; coordinate medical referrals; and maintain accurate electronic medical documentation. Working closely with the Head Athletic Trainer, coaches, and health partners, you’ll provide coverage for practices and home/away events throughout pre-, post-, and off-season periods. You’ll also support equipment and supply oversight, assist with insurance processes, help coordinate first-aid staffing for camps and clinics, and promote best practices related to student-athlete well-being.
We’re looking for a collaborative professional with extensive knowledge of injury recognition, prevention, and treatment; the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations; strong communication skills; and comfort working in a fast-paced environment. Skill in building relationships with health professionals is valued, along with the ability to mentor future practitioners. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment is beneficial.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a four-year college or university and two years full-time equivalent related experience and/or training required. Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for experience.
Required License and/or Certifications:
The following are required upon hire:
• Certification by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (ATC)
• Current valid driver’s license
The following are required within 90 days of hire:
• Licensure by the Idaho State Board of Medicine (LAT)
• Basic Life Support/Professional Rescuer or Beyond certification
• First Aid Certification
Starting pay range: $37,865 - $45,439
