The Opportunity
A Level C academic is expected to make substantial contributions to the teaching, research, and engagement activities of their discipline, school, or faculty. This includes taking a leadership role in curriculum design and delivery, contributing to academic governance, and engaging with professional and industry networks. The appointed academic will play a key role in the development and delivery of large-cohort Finance units, with a particular focus on the Banking and Financial Management major. The successful\ candidate should have a proven track record of high-quality teaching in finance-related units and demonstrated experience in engaging and collaborating with relevant stakeholders in the financial markets. The role also involves contributing to research output and impact in the finance discipline,
mentoring junior staff, and supporting initiatives that strengthen the school’s academic and industry
partnerships.
Reporting Line: The position reports to Head, Department of Finance
