Suncorp is growing in North Queensland, and our Townsville Contact Centre (opened June 2025) is expanding fast. We’re now hiring full-time Customer Service Representatives to join our AAMI team and support customers across Australia.

If you’ve worked in hospitality, retail, childcare or a contact centre, your experience with people, problem solving and service makes you a great fit. Shift Pattern:

This role is a Full time Role offering: 

  • Option 1: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday Start window 09:00am -11:00am (During daylight savings 8:00am - 10:00am) 
  • Option 2: 37.5 hours per week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Saturday & Sunday, Start window 09:00am -11:00am (During daylight savings 8:00am - 10:00am) 

Please note: ‘Start window’ means you can be asked to start at any time between the hours shown. You must be able to fully commit to the shift shown.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an AAMI Specialist, you’ll:

  • Support customers with their insurance needs via phone
  • Provide clear, helpful solutions tailored to each customer
  • Build strong relationships through great service
  • Achieve service and sales targets with customer satisfaction at the core
  • Resolve enquiries efficiently and confidently

Training Period

  • Our success starts with investing in your growth. You’ll complete a 7-week, full-time, paid training program held at our Townsville office, equipping you with everything you need to succeed in the role.
  • Please note: You’ll be required to work full-time from our Townsville office during the training period. Once complete, you’ll move to your selected shift pattern and transition to our flexible hybrid working model.

 

Home Office Setup Requirements

As this is a hybrid role, you’ll work from both the office and home. Suncorp will provide you with a laptop, but you’ll need to have:

  • A reliable internet connection
  • An ergonomic home office setup (keyboard, mouse, dual screens, desk, and chair)
  • A private and distraction-free workspace
