Overview of the role
This is a unique permanent opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our large Analysis Chapter. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a role within our Consumer Tribe where your experience in UX and expertise in stakeholder coordination and management would shine.
The Chapter consists of around 300 like-minded analysts, where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing. You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) and supporting the platform. What you’ll do:
- Work within a squad as part of the broader Consumer Tribe
- Build strong relationships through engagement with colleagues, and stakeholders across Business and Technology.
- Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.
- Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
- Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.
- Create detailed user stories (in JIRA) to support delivery.
- Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Project Manager, Scrum Master, architects, Developers, Tech Leads, Test Analyst to identify, capture, plan and deliver changes
What you’ll bring:
- Recent experience with UX and AI
- Web/mobile app experience (desired)
- Minimum 5 years business analysis experience in a project/delivery orientated role, from a large organisation.
- Minimum 5 years’ Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation.
- Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference.
