The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to support the implementation of a new Enterprise-Wide Scheduling, Time, and Attendance solution (Nimbus Time2Work).

During the initial 12-month phase of this Project, the Senior Functional Analyst will  translate complex award rules into system logic, ensuring seamless integration with payroll and other enterprise systems. The role involves close collaboration with the selected vendor, SAP Payroll and Integration Teams, all of which are expected to be fully operationalised by May 2026.

This role requires deep expertise in enterprise workforce management systems, is key to ensuring the accurate capture and interpretation of time worked, enabling correct payment of employee entitlements. You will perform end-to-end functional analysis, actively contributing to all stages of the solution lifecycle, working closely with both business and technical teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

This position plays a vital role in delivering a robust, efficient, and compliant workforce management solution, supporting successful project delivery..

To be successful the eligible candidate will have:

  • Extensive expertise and experience in Enterprise Scheduling, Time and Attendance Solutions within complex organizations, with a strong background in Award Interpretation and Business Policy related to staff engagement and payroll outcomes

  • Prior experience with Nimbus Time2Work is strongly preferred.

  • Experience integrating these solutions with SAP or other similar ERP systems with specialised skills in system configuration

  • Proven ability to conduct requirements analysis using techniques such as functional decomposition, interface analysis,  process modelling, prototyping and structured walkthrough 

  • Strong knowledge of systems interface and integration within complex legacy environments involving transaction processing

  • Actively participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and UAT to validate that business requirements are fully validated.

  • Outstanding relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence,  and effectively negotiate with stakeholders at all levels and with varying levels of IT literacy
