The Assistant Vice President, Major Gifts (AVP) will oversee programs that engage and solicit philanthropic contributions from more than 85,000 living alumni through the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of highly-rated individual prospects from across the country. The position serves in a senior management capacity for regional giving (major gifts), and is directly responsible for the development, execution, and evaluation of regional fundraising plans that maximize donor philanthropy to the University by aligning institutional priorities with donors’ interests and passions. Management of the team requires regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to mark progress toward goals and adjust strategies as necessary, as well as team meetings that help to train all staff on the array of gift and volunteer opportunities that can be used to engage individuals.
The AVP serves as a leader on the development team, reporting to the Associate Vice President for Development and helping to ensure successful collaboration among the various reporting units of the development operation within the Office of Development & Alumni Relations. The AVP will create and implement a strategic fundraising plan that outlines targets goals, timelines and measurable objectives. |

The Assistant Director of Regional and Affinity Strategy is responsible for engaging alumni and planning events for their portfolio of regionals and affinity-based alumni networks.
The Assistant Director of Regional and Affinity Strategy is a member of the regional and affinity team within Alumni Relations. This team connects our 85,000 alumni back to Lehigh for a lifetime through communications and digital programs, events, and volunteer opportunities.
The Assistant Director will work closely with the alumni relations team and regional gift officers to develop engagement activities that expand and celebrate the vibrant Lehigh Alumni Network.

The Director of International Students and Scholars provides vision, oversight, and leadership to all areas of the Office of International Students and Scholars: employment-based visas (including faculty, staff and researchers), sponsored students, incoming exchange students, and immigration advising to ensure that students and scholars maintain their legal status in the United States. OISS also supports student engagement and intercultural initiatives to enhance student success, including significant programming dedicated to international students' personal development and adjustment to Lehigh University and programming that integrates international and domestic students and scholars. The Director oversees the delivery of exceptional services in all of these areas, and, as a member of the Leadership Team, collaborates within the Office of International Affairs (OIA) to help the University fulfill the goals of its global strategy. The Director is expected to collaborate with departments at all levels of the university to ensure compliance with immigration and other regulations, and to communicate effectively with a wide array of campus stakeholders on matters related to international students and scholars success at Lehigh.
