Lehigh University, a premier research institution, seeks an exceptional individual to serve as Assistant Director of Educational Innovation and Assessment (Position Number S97100) within the Academic Affairs department. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Educational Innovation and Assessment to shape the future of teaching and learning at our esteemed university.

As the Assistant Director, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive assessment strategies that enhance educational outcomes across our diverse academic programs. Your expertise will drive the successful integration of Lehigh User Designed Inquiry methodology, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators to design and implement innovative assessment strategies that promote academic excellence.
• Spearhead the development and implementation of a supportive strategy for faculty engaged in Lehigh User Designed Inquiry methodology.
• Conduct data analysis and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among stakeholders to promote best practices in educational innovation and assessment.

Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, learning sciences or related field; Doctorate Degree is preferred.
Three to five years of related work experience.
• Demonstrated experience in educational innovation initiatives within higher education with a strong emphasis on student-centered pedagogies preferred.
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in teaching and learning, including active learning strategies, educational technologies and assessment methods.
• Experience designing and delivering faculty development programs and workshops.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and administrators.

This position is a Grade: 10 - 40, offering an approximate salary of $65,290-$79,430.
