At LCRA, we are seeking an individual with exceptional skills and extensive experience in materials and logistics coordination to join our Supply Chain team! As the Materials & Logistics Coordinator, you will have a crucial role in optimizing our inventory operations and ensuring seamless material and logistics activities within our warehouses. In this role you will ensure the necessary materials, parts, tools, and equipment are furnished to the appropriate facilities, warehouses or projects within the required timelines. This position requires a niche depth and/or breadth of expertise, interpret business issues and recommend best practices. You will tackle complex problems, take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions and act as a resource for colleagues. This position may advise the work of other staff members.

You will be trusted to:

- Promote accurate and efficient inventory management processes, including but not limited to material handling, shipping/receiving/issuing, resource planning, requisition, spot buying, scheduling and inventory control measures.
- Communicate with truck drivers, trucking dispatchers and other material specialists to coordinate deliveries at warehouse(s) and multiple laydown yards.
- Provide material expertise and coordination to work crews in materials planning, procurement and receiving functions. Communicates with suppliers and project teams to ensure vendor-procured materials are delivered to the appropriate location in a timely and accountable manner.
- Monitor and update inventory status, issuance, stock numbers and locations in work management software and ERP system. Maintains warehouse inventory spreadsheets. Identifies, reports and resolves inventory discrepancies while updating relevant parties and databases as required.
- May operate materials handling heavy equipment to ensure successful and safe delivery and receipt of materials and maintain current LCRA/department-specific Forklift Training certification.
- Perform appropriate documentation of all inventory, planning and procurement activities. Creates records and reports as needed to ensure accurate and auditable information is provided and in accordance with LCRA policies and internal controls objectives.
- Support the warehouse management processes in the transmission, generation, and hydro warehouses when available.

You qualify with:

- Five or more years of experience in logistics, materials planning, inventory control, inventory management or warehouse operations or relevant experience.
