Join North Idaho College's Disability, Health, and Counseling Services team and play a vital role in supporting student access, well-being, and success. As the Senior Administrative Assistant, you will serve as the first point of contact for students seeking services, helping create a welcoming, responsive, and student-centered experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy and impactful department.
In this role, you will coordinate appointments, meetings, communications, records, reports, budgets, and office operations while serving as a key resource for students, faculty, staff, and community members. You will assess student needs, route urgent concerns appropriately, support accommodation processes, maintain confidential records, assist with departmental communications and outreach, and help ensure compliance with applicable policies and reporting requirements.
We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills who can communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable using technology and database systems to support efficient operations.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree or Applied Associate’s degree or certification from a two-year college or professional/technical school or program and a minimum of three years full-time equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Starting pay range: $20.01 - $23.01

Work Schedule: typical college hours are Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:00, Fri 7:30-2:30
