Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Join our dynamic department to assist with Digital Marketing and Outreach. Where you will play a crucial role in enhancing our department's visibility and engagement. This position is perfect for a creative and driven student who is eager to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and educational outreach.

  • Social Media Campaigns: Develop and execute engaging social media campaigns on TikTok and Instagram. You will create content that resonates with our student body, promoting department events and initiatives.
  • Text Message Outreach: Collaborate with dept faculty to craft effective text message communications that keep students informed and engaged with department activities.
  • Educational Presentations: Coordinate with faculty and students to give classroom presentations on the value of a major or minor in Gender and Sexuality and/or Queer Studies. 

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

Required Qualifications

  • Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
  • Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
  • In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
  • Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Gender Studies, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in digital media platforms.
  • Creative aptitude with experience in content creation and visual design.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team,

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the current Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for viewing at: https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. This report contains the current security and safety-related policy statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains statistics of Clery Act crimes for California State University, Fullerton for the last three (3) calendar years. Paper copies are available upon request at the CSUF Police Department.

 

Notice of Availability of the Annual Fire Safety Report (AFSR)
In addition, pursuant to the Higher Education Opportunity Act, the AFSR is also available at https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. The purpose of this report is to disclose statistics for fires that occurred within California State University, Fullerton housing facilities for the last three (3) calendar years, and to distribute fire safety policies and procedures intended to promote safety on campus. A paper copy of the AFSR is available upon request by contacting the Housing Office located at The Housing & Residential Engagement Main Office.
