What You’ll Do

  • Proactively deliver and refine all Genesys Cloud features, ensuring the platform supports critical customer-facing operations.
  • Support and maintain the Genesys Cloud critical application, re-engineering run support functions to reduce technical headwinds.
  • Drive strategic delivery of the customer roadmap through automation, operational improvements, and backlog management.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the team, institutionalising knowledge and building a high-performing, self-organising team.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues and improve system reliability.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including AU and NZ platform owners, to support licensing, roadmap engagement, and operational improvements.
  • Leverage scaled agile practices and Jira to plan sprints, manage pipelines of work, and maintain auditable product journey maps.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years’ industry experience in a relevant engineering or DevOps role.
  • A background in risk, security and privacy disciplines
  • Proven expertise with Genesys Cloud, including certification and deep knowledge of all Cx features.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools, with a strong track record in scripting (PowerShell or Python)
  • PowerBi, historical and real time management information.
  • Strong background in AI configuration and refinement within enterprise environments.
  • Experience with SOC 2 and AWS overarching controls, cloud engineering, and application security principles.
  • API
  • Genesys App foundry
  • Salesforce integration and development is highly desirable.
  • Strong capability in monitoring and reporting tools (Dynatrace, synthetic monitoring, Power BI) Service Now.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, continuous improvement focus, and passion for building robust, scalable systems.
  • Tertiary qualification in IT and/or Business or equivalent industry experience (desirable).
