Position Number: S89240

This position is a Grade: 8 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $46,180-$55,420 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

As the Assistant Director of First-Year Experience, you will be instrumental in promoting retention and fostering student success for first-year, transfer, and second-year students. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Work with Assistant Dean/Director and Associate Director to coordinate, conduct and establish short and long term planning activities
• Coordinates and facilitates data-driven transitional programming and resources to support first-year students and non-traditional populations at Lehigh University
• Supervises OFYE Student Staff including Camp Hawk Counselors and preLUsion Leaders
• Assists in the marketing and communications of office programs and services
• Coordinate and implement programs and resources to aid in sophomore student success and retention
• Work closely with the Student Affairs offices and University committees to best support first-year and second-year students in their transition to Lehigh University

Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Higher Education/Student Affairs or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• One to three years of related work experience
• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Commitment to student success and development
