Join our Cloud Platforms team to build resilient, scalable, and secure storage services across Azure, AWS, and on‑prem environments. You will support meaningful change as we modernise our platforms, uplift automation, and embed best‑practice data protection. Work in a supportive team focused on growth, collaboration, and customer impact.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain storage and data‑protection services across multi‑cloud and hybrid platforms, ensuring secure and reliable business outcomes.
- Develop automation and infrastructure‑as‑code using tools such as Terraform, Python, PowerShell, and Ansible to uplift efficiency and consistency.
- Manage backup, recovery, and retention operations using Commvault and cloud‑native data‑protection tools across Azure and AWS.
- Collaborate with cloud, platform, security, and application teams to improve service reliability, governance, and operational readiness.
- Support incident and problem resolution, contributing to continuous improvement, documentation, and operational excellence.
- Contribute to lifecycle planning, capability uplift, and the adoption of emerging technologies.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience in storage engineering within medium to large organisations, ideally across multi‑cloud environments.
- Expertise with Commvault (essential) including configuration, optimisation, backup, and recovery.
- Experience with cloud storage and data‑protection services across Azure and/or AWS, including Azure NetApp Files, NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in automation and IaC, such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or Python, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Effective analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver results with clarity and confidence.
- An inclusive communication style that supports collaboration across technical and non‑technical teams.
